What do you think of when you think about our society? The economy? What is so shocking about that? I personally think a lot of those things aren’t really shocking, but I’m not going to sit here and tell you that what I think is shocking. A lot of what I think is shocking is the fact that people don’t have to think about a lot of the things that we do.
The average American spends only about half his/her income on food. So when you add up the cost of eating out, taking public transportation, etc., you have to divide your take-home pay by your portion of the total income to get a feeling of how much money you spend each month. If you work a typical 40-hour week you’re spending about $500. If you work 40 hours, you’re spending $500.
That’s right. We’re talking about the same thing you’re spending money on in most of the rest of the world, but here in the United States, we don’t even think about it. We just buy what we want. We don’t consider the things we don’t have to. And it’s not just our finances where this is the case.
If you’re a working person, you spend your money on things you do. If you’re a rich person you spend your money on things you do. Everyone has been consuming their entire life on things they dont need. It’s not a crime. But it does change the way that things are done. If youre doing an activity where you arent really contributing, you dont waste time on it.
For most of human history, we did not have a choice about what to spend our money on. Things have been cheap for a long time, that’s not changed. For instance, the average person today spends about $1,000 a year on necessities like food and shelter. By contrast, it was about $6,000 a year for the average medieval person. In modern times, things are expensive, but not nearly as expensive as they were in the Middle Ages.
When a person is able to enjoy the luxury of a living room, it makes sense that they should be able to do all of this. If they do it in a hotel room, it will make them no less valuable to their own families. Also, it makes sense that they should be able to do all of this if they want to spend more money.
It is important to note that in the Middle Ages, people had very little disposable income. In fact, in most countries, the average peasant did not have a lot of disposable income. If they did, they risked being killed by robbers because they had nowhere to go. But today, we do not have the luxury of being able to escape without spending money, and we do not have the luxury of having lots of money.
The reason why it is important to understand the difference between spending money and being able to spend money is because we spend money every day. We go to a store, we buy food, clothing, and other necessities. But when we go back to a store in a few days, we realize we spent our money on something else, and we are left with no food, clothing, or other necessities.
This is a great way to understand the difference between being able to spend money and being able to spend most money. For the latter, we have to ask the truth of the matter: What is it you are willing to spend money on? And if you are willing to spend money, the answer is not “I am.” Instead, we have to ask the truth of the matter, because you simply can’t spend money.
If we are spending money on something, we don’t even have to think about it. It’s like the store in an episode of The Office where office worker Olivia doesn’t even know it’s her store. She just rolls out of bed and heads out to the store and asks if anyone wants anything. The person on the other end of the line takes her for a ride, and after a while, she tells him she needs some toilet paper, and he can buy it for her.
