So it is a great conversation to have about what gun ownership is versus what butter is.
I love the butter part. I love the whole idea of butter. It is one of those things that is as healthy as ice cream, and it is great.
Butter is what makes most of the food that we eat. Most of the food that we eat is made from butter. In fact, I would just like to make a huge deal out of this point. Butter is the number one health food on the planet. The average American consumes two pounds of butter each year, and butter accounts for about 65% of our total caloric intake.
Now we’re not talking about butter here. We’re talking about the chemical that produces the butter in the first place. Specifically, we’re talking about triglycerides (the buttery fats that humans eat). Triglycerides are molecules that are packed with fat. The most common triglyceride is called glycerol, which is what we get from the milk that we drink. Milk contains about a third of the total calories of butter.
In the film, it is the triglyceride molecules that kill the Visionaries. If you’ve ever wondered about that, you’ll probably have a good laugh. Triglycerides are made from oil. If you eat oil, your body breaks it down into the molecules that we eat. When our bodies are doing this, it’s called “lipolysis.
When our bodies break down triglyceride molecules, they are called glycerol. This is what turns butter into buttery goodness. If youve ever wondered, we eat fat. We burn fat when we work out. We eat fat because we like it and we like eating it, even though it is bad for us.
Butter is actually the best known kind of fat. It is the most abundant animal food on the planet and the only fat you can find in nature that isn’t made from plants. It is a complex tri-hexa-decane molecule. (Its chemical formula is 3CH2CH2O). As we know, the first step in making butter is to break it down into its three components: triglyceride, glycerol, and water.
Butter is produced by extracting oil from plants. What we are describing is a process called “hydrogenation” where the oil gets converted into a tri-hexa-decane. What we know about fat is that it is composed of three different kinds of fats, with different fatty acids that are attached to a molecule called phospholipid. The fatty acids are bonded to the glycerol, which bonds to the phospholipid.
I’m not sure how you break down butter, but as a process, it’s probably pretty simple. If you want to make butter you want to break it down.
You’ll want to take the butter and use it in your food. You’ll want to make margarine, but that’s a whole other article. What you want to do is to make a fatty acid called tri-hexa-decane. Tri-hexa-decane is a tri-acyl fat with three fatty acyl groups attached. A triglyceride is made of these fatty acids.
