I have to say I’m pretty surprised at how much I’ve fallen in love with mig ratings. I was never a fan of them until I saw them in action. I’m sure there are other people who think they’re a waste of your time, but I found them to be useful and enjoyable.
I dont think mig ratings are used in the same way you think they are. They’re a generic rating system. The Img tag and Mig tag are simply two ways of adding your rating to a picture to show to others. Mig ratings are a bit like a review for a movie when you can simply go to the movie’s IMG and read the description.

For example, I can write a review for a movie which tells you how good the film is. Or I can write a review for a music video which tells you how good a single song is. Or I can write a review for a game which tells you how good it is.

The thing is that a Mig rating isn’t always accurate. For example, if a review for a movie tells you how good it is, it might not be quite right. A review for a music video is not always accurate. When you post a Mig rating on a site such as YouTube, it might not be accurate.
Mig ratings are not always wrong, either. You can use them to judge a movie, or a video game, but you can’t be sure how accurate they are. As with any rating system, you have to rely on your own judgment.
A rating system like Mig was designed to help people find and review movies. When a Mig system is used too often, or when too many people say the same thing about the same movie, it makes the system less effective. The best way to judge a movie is to watch it and give it your own honest opinion.
I usually watch movies for entertainment and that’s what I do. I’m not a critic. I have no idea if I’m going to like it or not. I just go to watch it. The same goes for most video games. I just pick up a game and start playing. I’m not a critic either, but I’ve been in most of the games I have played.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I always prefer to rate games that I’ve really played instead of just ones that I’ve seen. I don’t want to be like “Oh, this game was terrible, but I’m gonna rate it anyway.” I just want to give my opinion based on my own play experience. I’m not trying to be a dick here, I’m just saying.
