This is a common term used in the Scenario Mode of planning and simulation that is often used in gaming. I can’t talk about it in enough detail so I’ll just link you to a few resources I found on the topic.
Basically Scenario Mode is when the player controls a set of characters and tells them what the game is about. This is similar to what I do in my games. I control the characters and they do things based on what I tell them.
In our case, the game is Deathloop, a stealthy time-looper hidden in a time loop. Players can use their powers to go around the island in time, killing Visionaries, and then going back to their own time. We have four characters, each with their own powers, who are able to do things like hide in the shadows, fly, and teleport.
The game’s main concept is that of a time loop. You are part of a time-looping party, and the goal is to kill the Visionaries. Sounds pretty neat, right? So far we have to kill Visionaries by either sneaking up on them, or just by shooting them, but we can also take out Visionaries by throwing them off the island into a bunch of water and using our powers to make them sink.
The problem is, we can only shoot them from a distance. So, we need a way to sneak up on Visionaries without them being able to see us. What are the powers that allow us to do this? Well we can take out Visionaries by using our powers to turn their bodies into a giant, floating, rotating sphere. We can also take out Visionaries by throwing them off the island into a bunch of water.
In this new trailer, we see Colt being pulled from a boat into a watery area. This makes sense because we’re in water, and also because I like the idea of scented water.
It must have something to do with the fact that the new trailer has the scents of different scents, in different colors, and also that we’re supposed to breathe water into our lungs.
The trailer is actually about an hour long, and the visuals are a bit thin. As I write this, I’m watching the trailer and I feel like I’ve been watching a movie for quite some time. It’s a big trailer, and I’m just about the only person left in the world who’s had the time of day to watch it. I can’t imagine how far I’d go if I stayed with a trailer and watched it, because I’m sure I’d like to.
In the game, scents are used in ways that are more akin to the way our noses perceive smells.
scm is a popular term that describes a type of smoke detector. Most are made for home use, but scm is used in a much more scientific sense and is used to detect the smoke of fires that have been set off. Because smoke detectors use the sense of smell, they can detect where the smoke is coming from.
